This porcelain cup has a delicate unique design, it will add a modern accent to your home, or it will make for a treasured gift for any tea and coffee lover.

I have designed a new shape, easier to hold with two hands, so that when your drink is too hot you can warm your hands, smells its aroma and smile.

This piece has been slip-casted from my original shapes and moulds in my studio in Digbeth, the creative heart of Birmingham, UK. It has then gone through a first firing up to 900 degrees.

It has a smooth tactile surface that makes it irresistible not to touch it. To get that beautiful finish I carefully sand the piece until I feel it is smooth enough and then I glaze it. It is then fired a second time up to 1250 degrees to make the cup waterproof, strong and durable.

It is dishwasher and microwave safe, but you get a longer life from handmade ceramics if you wash them by hand.

This light blue ceramic cup comes beautifully packaged in a rustic gift box and is then placed in a secure posting box.
